Dr. Peter Jacques
Dr. Peter D. Jacques graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lindenwood University before receiving his Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. He has served on advisory boards and committees for the American Optometric Association (AOA), Missouri Optometric Association (MOA), and St. Louis Optometric Society (SLOS). In 2019, he was recognized as the Missouri State Leader by the Young Optometrists of America and was recognized as a Top Optometrist in The International Association of Healthcare Professionals. Dr. Jacques currently owns Rockwood Eyecare where he specializes in medical eye care and neuro-optometric vision rehabilitation. He currently holds privileges at SSM Rehabilitation Hospital and Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital where he diagnoses neuro-optometric disorders and binocular vision dysfunctions and currently co-manages treatment programs with occupational and physical therapists across the greater St. Louis area.
Lisa Jacques MOT, OTR/L
Lisa Jacques graduated in 2012 from St. Louis University with her Masters of Occupational Therapy degree. Lisa has over 10 years of experience working in-patient rehabilitation hospitals working with various diagnosis including stroke, traumatic brain injury, amputee, lymphedema, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic conditions. Lisa began specializing in the treatment of vision disorders 5 years ago co-managing patients with neuro-optometrists at SSM Rehabilitation hospital. Lisa completed an advanced vision therapy mentorship program with Dr. W.C. Maples and Dr. Megan Lott with an emphasis on visual development and the visual processing hierarchy. Lisa currently practices vision rehabilitation at three SSM Rehabilitation Hospitals, Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital, and outpatient clients at Rockwood Eyecare.
